Since I started to make these bars at home I couldn’t stop to make them, they taste so good and they are so healthy! But I always made quite sweet recipes so I was excited to try a salty one! Well, these bars are always sweet and this recipe too but this one is a bit more salty. But just a bit! As I love sweet things, it couldn’t be only salty haha.You can also use another type of nuts like cashews or something like that. Anyway, let’s see the recipe!
- 30 grams unsalted penauts (1/4c)
- 80 grams dates (a scant 2/3c)
- Tiny pinch salt
- A drop or two of good-quality vanilla extract
Blend all the ingridients in your food processor. Is easier to blend them if you double the recipe, but with this amount is possible too. And of course, enjoy!
I always wanted to taste this bars but unfortunatelly they are not available were I live… So I decided to make them at home! And it tastes AMAZING! I’m usually disappointed with the healthy recipes wich don’t cointain a tiny bit of chocolate, because I’m a chocolate lover. So, I was a bit insecure to make them but well I decided to give a chance to this and I make the right decission. I will make this another time, for sure! It tastes really good, like a mixture of sweet and a tiny bit of salty that comes from the penauts. If you want to know how I make this just keep reading!
-1/2 cup or 80gr raisins
-6 tbsp or 30 gr quick oats
-1/2 cup or 40gr penauts
-A pinch salt
-1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract or 2-3 drops of concentrated vanilla extract
Put first the oats in the mixer and mix them just for 20-30 seconds, then put the other ingridients and mix them. Then make with the dough 3 balls and put them in a baking sheet (you can make more or less balls if you want to). Make the form of a bar, you can be more creative and make funny forms like for exaple a heart. And they are ready to enjoy!
The bars can be in the fridge at least two weeks.
